Chang Li 

Chang Li is a solo and collaborative pianist based in China. As a solo pianist, Mr. Li has given numerous performances in Asia, Europe and the United States. As a collaborative pianist, he has worked with musicians in different fields around the world. As a musician, his professional field is very broad; his repertoire covers not only solo works, but also chamber music works, which have made him a comprehensive musical talent.

Mr. Li received an honorary scholarship every year from the Xi’an Conservatory of Music during his four-year undergraduate study with the piano professor Mrs. Wu Chen in China since 2014. Mr. Li not only made lots of impressive piano recitals and chamber music concerts, but also won many competition awards and honors for the school. His music literacy created his mature music level and a very incredible height, until he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Xi'an Conservatory of Music in 2018. At the same year, he was admitted to Manhattan School of Music, Mannes School of Music, San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Music College at University of Cincinnati for Master of Music in piano performance with high scholarships. Since 2018, Mr. Li has studied piano performance and piano pedagogy with Dr. Vladimir Valjarević, a Serbian pianist, and the piano professor of both Mannes School of Music and Rutgers University. In 2020, Mr. Li received a master's degree in piano performance from the Mannes School of Music in New York City, and he was admitted to University of North Texas, University of Kansas, Penn State University, Michigan State University, and University of Connecticut for Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance degree with full scholarships and teaching assistantships.

Mr. Li has participated in many music festivals and concerts in Asia, Europe and the United States. Especially between 2018 and 2020, he has been invited multiple times to participate in the annual “Mannes Sounds Festival” of the Mannes School of Music. He has also been invited to give recitals and concerts at the Art Center of Jiangxi

Province, Concert hall of Jiangxi Normal University, Art Center of Xi'an Conservatory, and Xi’an Concert Hall, China; Mirasler Concert Hall in Hamburg, Germany. His performances have also spread all over the United States, from San Francisco on the west coast to New York on the east coast; from Michigan in the north to Texas in the south. It’s worth mentioning that Mr. Li created the most glorious moment in his musical life in Manhattan, New York City, he has performed at the William R. And Irene D. Miller Recital Hall, Ernst C. Stiefel Hall, recital hall of the Greenwich house music school, Baruch Performing Arts Center and Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center etc. Mr. Li has worked with one of the most outstanding brass bands in the world – the Brass Band of Battle Creek.

Mr. Li has taken master classes and received guidance with many famous world-class pianists and musicians: Jerome Lowenthal, Marc Silverman, Pavlina Dokovska, Vladimir Valjarević, Corey Macvicar, Ellen Mack, Pamela Mia Paul, Gustavo Romero and Derek Polischuk, etc. He also studied Fortepiano with Dr. Yi-heng Yang and Dr. Audrey Axinn at Mannes School of Music and the Juilliard School in 2018.

Mr. Li is also the winner of international competitions. In 2019, he won third prize in the Camerata Artists International Competition and got the honorable opportunity to make his debut at both Carnegie Hall and Lincoln center in New York City. Mr. Li is also the recipient of the “Steinway & Sons” Artist Award from the Mannes School of Music, and he was recognized an honorary musician of the Orpheus Classical Label since 2020. His first digital and physical album “Francis Poulenc: Les Soirées de Nazelles” has been already released on numerous music platforms globally. In 2021, the well-known record company - KNS Classical Label signed Mr. Li as a recording artist and pianist. At the meanwhile, he recorded the album “Trace Back” in collaboration with the world-renowned “Latin GRAMMY nominated producer” and pianist - Dr. Sergei Kvitko. This album is cover works by D. Scarlatti, Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy and Lowell Liebermann, it will soon be released globally.

Outside of Mr. Li’s performing field, he is also involved in the field of teaching and educating. In 2021, Mr. Li joined the Global Outstanding Chinese Artists Association as a teacher member and artist; he was

also invited to serve as a piano teaching assistant at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan, the U.S. Now Mr. Li is serving as an instrumental accompanist and pursuing a doctorate degree in piano performance as a graduate research assistant at Michigan State University College of Music with a full scholarship under the guidance of Dr. Derek Kealii Polischuk, who is the professor of piano and director of piano pedagogy at Michigan State University.

Chinese pianist JingCi Liu, native of Tianjin, China. Most recently, she won the First Prizes in the 2021 New York International Classical Music Competition (Grand Prize Recipient), 2021 Chopin Malaysia International Competition, Global Outstanding Chinese Artist International Piano Competition (2021), Gold Prize of the WPTA Second Finland International Piano Competition (Piano Solo & Piano Duo Division, 2020), Fifth Place in the 2020 Conero International Piano Competition, and the Distinction Award at the 2020 Vienna International Music Competition. Highlights in this season also include the Third Prize of "2020 Paderewski International Piano Competition in Connecticut", "Distinction Award" at 2020 2nd Vienna International Music Competition, as well as the First Prize at 2019 North International Music Competition in Sweden, 19th London Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition in the U.K., and the Third prize winner of 2018 III Future Star International Piano Competition in Connecticut, U.S.A.    

 

In the summer of 2020, Ms. Liu was selected as one of the eight promising featured pianists for the festival of Fontainebleau Schools (Conservatoire américain de Fontainebleau) with full-scholarship and stipend in Fontainebleau, France. She will be joining the next season for  piano solo and four hands concert in 2022.  In May 2019, Ms. Liu was invited by the Chinese Consul General Amb. Huang Ping and his wife Mme. Zhang Aiping to perform a piano Duo/Solo concert at the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in New York City. Ms. Liu won the first prize of both Young Artist and Senior Piano Duo Divisions of the  Golden Classical Music Award Competition in November 2018. Meanwhile, she has been invited to perform the winner's recital in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall as her Solo and Duo Carnegie debut in October and November 2018. In addition to December 2018, Ms. Liu appeared again at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall at the Closing Ceremony of "2018 Mannes Sounds Festival" as a featured artist. Since 2016, Ms. Liu has performed throughout premier venues in New York City as a featured pianist at the Mannes Sounds Festival and Mannes Piano Cantabile concert series. Including the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall, The Frick Collection, Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in New York, German Consulate General in New York, Bohemian National Hall, Metropolitan Club, House of Redeemer in New York City and many others. Also, Ms. Liu is the resident artist at the concert series of Young Musician Forum in Schenectady and Classical Music at the American Yacht Club in New York.     


Ms. Liu has also been admitted to music festival internationally such as the "21st International Keyboard Institute & Festival" in New York, 2019, "Miami International Music Festival" in 2018, "Beijing International Music Festival and Academy" in 2017, the "Eastern Music Festival" in 2016, the "Mostly American Music Festival" in Lancaster, Ohio in 2014, performing with All-State Orchestra at the OHIO Columbus Conventional Art Center in 2015 and the "NOW Festival" in 2013. Besides, Ms. Liu leads the concert series for Youth at the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in New York  City. 

 

Ms. Liu is a prize-winner of many national and international competitions. She received the First Prize of the Young Artist, Advanced Baroque, and Advanced Beethoven Categories in the "23rd American International Music Open Competition" in Oakland, California, in 2015. Meanwhile, she received one of seven National Outstanding Artist Awards at the winner's award ceremony. Ms. Liu also has awarded Third Prize at the 2015 "Women in Music Columbus Music Auditions." Ms. Liu was twice nominated as an Honorable Mention recipient at the "Music Teacher National Association State Competition" in the U.S.A. Other awards, including First Prize of the 2013 "Ohio State Graves Piano-Organ Competition" and finalists of 2011 "Oberlin International Piano Competition," the First prize at the 2010 "Asia Steinway Young Artist Piano Competition." Ms. Liu achieved significant accomplishments as well as the First and Second prize winner in the 2010 "Asia/Schumann International Piano Competition," and Second Prize in the 2010 "Hong Kong Piano Open Competition."   

 

Ms. Liu received a Bachelor of Music Degree with cum laude from the Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, May of 2016, where she studied with Chinese-American Pianist Dr. Tianshu Wang. The Capital University awarded Ms. Liu with the Global Ambassador award Full Scholarships and a twice-winning outstanding keyboard department student. During her years in Ohio, Ms. Liu has performed Mozart Piano Concerto K.466 with Capital University Orchestra under the baton of Grammy Award nominee conductor, William Boggs, and the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No.2 with Barry E. Kopetz. She has been featured soloist multiple times at the "Now Festival" for commissioning new music with Orchestra and Symphonic Band as well as the Lancaster Mostly American Festival. Ms. Liu has been selected to perform in the Masterclasses for Eteri Andjaparidze, Yoshie Akimoto, Malcolm Bilson, Jerome Lowenthal, Michael Lewin, Marc Silverman, Douglas Humphreys, Boaz Sharon, Nelita True, Christopher Fischer, Charles Dimaras, Danwen Wei, Fang Zhang, Robert Shanon, Inessa Zaretsky, etc.

Ms. Liu holds both Professional Studies Diploma (PDPL) and Master of Music Degrees from the Mannes School of Music of the New School, where she was under the guidance of Bulgarian-American pianist Pavlina Dokovskaand Serbian/American concert pianist and pedagogue, Dr. Vladimir Valjarevic. Ms. Liu was the recipient of the President's Scholarship, Supplemental Scholarship for Graduate Student, and Schoenberg Pianist Scholarship. Ms. Liu is currently pursuing a DMA degree in piano performance at University of Connecticut, studying with Dr. Angelina Gadeliya. She is recipient of Full Scholarship and Graduate Teaching Assitanship. In 2020, she has been awarded a pre-dotoral fellowship from the Music Department of Unverisity of Connecticut.

 

Ms. Liu is a KNS artist. Her first solo album will feature female composers from the eighteenth to the twentieth centuries under the label of KNS Classical. In 2021, Ms. Liu was invited to join as a guest artist and piano pedagogy fellow member at IPPA (International Piano Pedagogy Association) and Global Outstanding Chinese Artist Association (organized by Chinese-American Pianist, Mme. Fangfang Pan). She is an international jury at Music Star Award International Music Competition in Europe since 2020.

As a dedicated soloist, chamber musician, and pedagogue, pianist Wenting Yu has won numerous First Prize Winners at the “2019 International Keyboard Institute and Festival Competition” in New York City, the “2020 WPTA Finland International Piano Competition for Solo and Piano Duo Divisions”, the “2018 Golden Classical Music Award International Competition” in New York City, the “2020 Rutgers University Mason Gross Concerto Competition”, the “2018 Mannes School of Music Piano Concerto Competition”, National Champion at the “Fifth China National Piano Competition” in Xiamen, China. 

 

Mr. Yu has also achieved numerous prizes including the “2020 Concerto Competition of Busan Maru International Music Festival” in Busan, South Korea; “2019 Steinway Award for Outstanding Pianist” from the prestigious Mannes School of Music and the headquarter of Steinway & Sons Company in NYC; the “2018 Ravel Grand Prize” ,“Robert Casadesus Award” awarded by the Foundation of Maurice Ravel and Écoles d'Art Américaines de Fontainebleau in the Palace of Fontainebleau, France; the Winner of a recipient of “Music Teachers National Association Competition Steinway 2016-2017 Annual Young Artist Award”; the Third Prize Winner at the 9th Metropolitan International Piano Competition at DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York City; Third Prize Winner of 2019 Gershwin International Piano Competition; Third Prize at the “Liszt International Piano Competition for Young Pianists” in Moscow, Russia and many others.

 

Mr. Yu is currently a candidate of his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts, studying with Prof. Vladimir Valjarevic as a full-scholarship and doctoral teaching fellowship recipient. In May 2019, Mr. Yu graduated from Mannes School of Music of The New School with full-scholarship where he obtained his Master of Music Degree and under the tutelage of Prof. Pavlina Dokovska. Among his graduation from Mannes, Mr. Yu has been selected to be the 2019 recipient of the Steinway & Sons Award, given to an outstanding artist in graduate program. 

 

In 2021, after three intensely and highly competitive rounds in nearly one year’s contest, Mr. Yu has successfully entered the final stage of the 67th Washington International Piano Competition and has been selected as one of the top six finalists from over 200 contestants worldwide. The final round of the competition was presented as a featured Livestream event for global audiences via Zoom-Webinar for the first time in the history of the prestigious and respected Washington International Piano Competition.

 

A soloist and chamber musician, Mr. Yu has performed concerts for multiple times at the most prestigious venues including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, Steinway & Sons Hall NYC, the Frick Collection Museum, Harris Hall at the Aspen Festival, Lang Recital Hall at Hunter College NYC, Elgar Room of the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Palace of Fontainebleau and the Amphitheatre of Paris Philharmonie in France. 

 

In addition to some conventional venues for the performing arts, Mr. Yu has been invited to give performances including some cultural institutions, the Metropolitan Club, the Union Club of NYC, Columbia University, Polish Consulate NYC, German Consulate NYC, Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in New York, NYC’s Bohemian National Hall, Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church NYC, Water Club NYC, Young Musicians Forum Concert Series at Niskayuna Library in Schenectady, NY, the historical American Yacht Club in Westchester, NY and many others.

 

Mr. Yu has also been featured and collaborated with Busan Philharmonic Orchestra of Korea, the McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra in Ohio, Mannes Symphony Orchestra, Rutgers Symphony Orchestra, China Symphony Orchestra, Xiamen Philharmonic, Columbus Capital Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, etc.

 

This year, Mr. Yu will be producing his first CD Album which commissioned by the Fontainebleau Music Festival & Associations and will be releasing by a distinguished label for classical music, the KNS Classical. The repertoire on the program will be featuring selected piano compositions by Robert Casadesus, one of the most renowned and legendary musicians in 20th Century. The CD will also contain exquisite piano selections from Couperin, Debussy, Ravel & Manuel De Falla in pair with Casadesus’ music together as parts of the dazzling heritage of French School.

 

Mr. Yu is currently lives in New York City with his beloved wife.

Juecui Zhang, a native of Guangzhou, China. She graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music with a degree in piano performance and entered the Royal College of Music for master in 2020. In recent years, she has under the guidance with Prof. Jianing Kong, Prof. Caterina Grewe, Prof. Yuan Sheng, Mr. Haonan Chen, Prof. Xiaobe Zhui and Ms. Lu Yang.

 

 

On 25th June, 2020, Juecui was interviewed by CCTV as a graduate of the Piano Department of the Central Conservatory of Music, and her piano recital was broadcast live on CCTV News the following day, with a total of 855,000 views. In July 2020, she released her original music album Origin on NetEase Cloud Music.

 

In 2018-2019, Juecui was employed as a piano teacher at the Central Conservatory of Music's School of Continuing Education, where her students passed the Central Conservatory's exams several times and won competition awards. In recent years, she has performed at the Xinghai Concert Hall in Guangzhou. She has been the piano accompanist for many concerts, including the ELAN International String Music Festival in the United States, the Symphony Concert of the PLA Academy of Arts, the "Oboe Mini Concert" of the Youth Symphony Orchestra affiliated with the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, and the folk music teacher-student concert of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, and the Beijing Queer Chorus (the first LGBT group to perform publicly in China). She has also been invited to perform as a soloist in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Sanya, as well as participating in programmes, interviews and launches.

QingPeng Zeng 

Qingpeng Zeng,who started studying piano at the age of 6, entered the piano major of the High School Attached to Wuhan Conservatory of Music in 2011 and studied with Professor Wu Man. In 2014, he was admitted to the Interlochen Art of the Academy in the United States and studied piano performance under the guidance of Professor Thomas Lymenstull, a famous piano educator. In 2016, he was admitted to the American Mannes School of Music with a high scholarship and studied under the famous piano educator Professor Yuri Kim. He is now studying for a master's degree at Mannes School of Music.

 

As a new generation of piano students in the United States, Qingpeng's performance footprint has spread all over China, many cities in Europe and America, and he has won many success in piano competitions at home and abroad. In 2011, he won the Liszt Memorial Award in Hong Kong International Piano Open. In 2018, he won an award in the Elite International Piano Competition in the United States, and was invited to play at Carnegie Hall in new york the following year. In 2020, he successfully held a solo concert at Stiefei Concert Hall in new york, which won unanimous praise.

 

During his study in the United States, he accumulated rich experience in piano education, piano playing and chamber music, and participated in concerts on and off campus for many times. In addition, he has participated in many international music festivals and is keen to study together with musicians. He has been invited to participate in Italy Burgos International Music Festival, Beijing BIMFA International Music Master Class and Shanghai International Music Festival. During this period, he participated in many chamber music concerts and solo performances with young musicians, which won unanimous praise. And received guidance and recognition from many masters such as Douglas Humpherys, Pavlina Dokovska and Jerome Lowenthal.

Anduo Chen 

Anduo Chen is a graduate student in piano performance at the Eastman School of Music where she studies with Dr. Marina Lomazov.  Anduo’s former teachers include Dr. Nelita True, Dr. Thomas Lymenstull, Dr. Xun Pan and Prof. Xian Wang. At the age of eight, she enrolled in the Affiliated Elementary School of Wuhan Conservatory of Music and began her professional musical training. At the age of 14, she earned a scholarship from Interlochen Arts Academy and went to study piano performance with Dr. Thomas Lymenstull. In 2016, Anduo began her professional career as a undergraduate pianist at Eastman School of Music. After completing the Bachelor’s degree, she is now pursuing her Master of Music degree at Eastman School of Music. During the years at Interlochen and Eastman, she actively participated in various concert performances and masterclasses. She also won in the Liszt Memorial Prize Hong Kong International Piano Open Competition, and in the Singapore International Youth Piano Competition. In July 2018, she successively held a piano solo concert at BaoLi Theater, in Huizhou, Guangdong. In July 2019, she held the “Anduo Chen Piano Solo Concert” in Huizhou City’s Cultural Exchange Center, and was well received by audiences as well as the co-sponsor Huizhou Broadcasting and Television Bureau.  During the same month, Anduo was sponsored by the Ace International Cultural Exchange Inc. to held a piano solo concert in Shenzhen city.

Xi Liu 

Xi Liu,started to learn piano at the age of five. In 2015, I was admitted to the Piano Department of Wuhan Conservatory of Music as an undergraduate, under the supervision of Associate Professor Wu Man and Teacher Zheng Xiaofeng. During the school period,I won scholarships for outstanding students every year; during the undergraduate period, I participated in various concerts many times and accumulated a wealth of stage experience.

    In May 2019, I was appointed by the Wuhan Conservatory of Music to represent Hubei Province to participate in the International Cultural Industry Expo held in Shenzhen, China, and act as the piano performance of the Hubei Pavilion.

     In 2020, I participated in the Hubei Division of the Shanghai Youth Piano Competition and won the gold medal in the youth group of professional colleges and the gold medal in the Chinese works group. In the subsequent finals, they won the first and second prizes of the above categories.

     In 2020, I was admitted to the Wuhan Conservatory of Music as a graduate student with the second place in the piano performance major, under the tutelage of Professor Wang Jian of the piano department. Won first-class scholarships for outstanding students during school.

      In 2021, I will participate in the first prize of the Young Artists Group of the Wuhan Division of the 8th Global Outstanding Young Performers Competition; at the same time, I won the Outstanding Instructor Award.

Shi Wei Yi

           Shi Weiyi, female, Han nationality, was born in December 2002. She began to learn the piano when she was five years old. At 15, she was admitted to the High School Attached to Wuhan Conservatory of Music and studied under Zheng Xiaofeng. At school, she won the first prize of piano major in Hubei division of the 4th Tchaikovsky Moscow International Music Festival Competition. Silver Award of Youth Professional Group in Hubei Division of the 13th Shanghai International Youth Piano Competition. In 2020, I was admitted to Wuhan Conservatory of Music as a student majoring in piano performance, ranking 11th in China and 1st in Hubei Province. I continued to study under the tutelage of Zheng Xiaofeng. Have a solid basic skills and professional knowledge, especially solfeggio ear practice is more outstanding.

HaiYue Tian

Haiyue Tian is a pianist from Hunan, China who started learning piano at the age of 6. In

2009, she was admitted to the attached middle school of Wuhan Conservatory of Music where she studied with Prof. Hong Xu and graduated in 2015. Then, she was enrolled in the Eastman School of Music and began her undergraduate study. In 2021, she was admitted as a DMA student at Eastman while she was pursuing her master of music degree at Eastman School of Music with Dr. Douglas Humpherys.

Before coming to the United States in 2015, Haiyue received many prizes in China, which include the first prize in the 3th KAWAI Asian Piano Competition in 2010; the fifth prize in the “Pearl River” Youth Piano Competition in Guangzhou in 2011; the first prize of piano competition in the Shanghai International Piano Festival and Institute in 2012; the first prize in the 4th KAWAI Asian Piano Competition in 2013 (Wuhan Region).

From 2011, as a member of a non-profit musical organization - “Music Lovers in Wuhan”, Haiyue has started to be dedicated to joining in numerous welfare activities including performing in geranium, the special school in Wuhan, and holding many recitals in “Wuhan Wenhua” bookstore. In 2015, as one of the representatives of “Music Lovers in Wuhan”, she was invited by Wuhan Traffic Broadcasting Station to have an interview and perform. She also has held many salons in the “Wandering in Music” musical studio in Wuhan to gather people in different fields to get cultural exchanges.

During the period she has been studying in the United States, she has accumulated abundant experience in solo performing, chamber music and collaboration. She was invited to record and accompany many insrumentalists and singers. In 2016, the chamber group she

participated in began the tour of performing and teaching in many high schools and colleges in Rochester. In 2017, she was invited by the Amalfi Coast Festival to study and perform.

RuoXi Jin

Ruoxi Jin, currently pursues her bachelor degree at the Juilliard school, learnt piano at a vey early age, had won many prices in numerous national and international competitions. Such as, Finalist in Kaufman international piano competition, first prize in Ameri-China international piano competition, Walnuthill concerto competition runner prize, etc. 

 

At age 12, RuoXi start studying piano in Affiliated middle school of Sichuan conservatory of music with first place in the entering audition. At age 13, she studies with Professor Yan Wang, the chair of piano department. During her school years, she was an excellent student, winning school scholarships each year. She also won Yamaha excellent pianist scholarship, Kent international piano festival full scholarship. In 2016, she attend the third international piano festival in Sichuan conservatory and gained appraises and advices from Maestro Garry Graffman, Bruce Brubaker, and Anton Nel. During the closing ceremony, she performed on the concert as the excellent student.

 

She attend massive music activities such as the Walnut hill music summer festival, Kent music summer festival, And gained advices from numerous maestros, such as  

(Meng-Chieh Liu),(Hung-kuan Chen),(Pi-hsien Chen),(Matti Raekallio),(Ignat Solzhenitsyn),(Eleanor Sokoloff).

 

Ruoxi has performed in numerous national and international concert halls. Such as

Kent university concert hall, Walnut hill concert hall, Sichuan southwestern financial university concert hall, Sichuan minzu university concert hall, Sichuan conservatory concert hall. In 2018, she gained offers from renowned conservatories, including full tuition scholarships from 2 schools. She finally choose to study with the first prize winner of 1980 Chopin piano competition, Maestro Dang Thai Son in Oberlin conservatory of music. In 2019, she transferred to the Juilliard school with high scholarship offered.
