Yuting Liu is an active musician who performing extensively as a recitalist and chamber musician, giving concerts in many countries included United States, Canada, Germany, Austria, France, Australia, and China.

Born in Beijing, China. Yuting commenced flute studies at the age of 8. Her teachers included Xiaohua Cheng, the co-principal flutist of the China Philharmonic Orchestra and Nikola Todor Atanasov, principal flautist with the Beijing Symphony Orchestra. Her awards in China included winning the Beijing Art Festival solo competitions.

After moving to the United States, she had her Bachelor degree at Depauw University where she studied with Anne Reynolds, winning the Scholarship Music Performance President Award for Excellence and the DePauw University Concerto Competition. Also, Yuting holding duo Master degrees. She completed her first Master degree at Indiana University, studying with Thomas Robertello, where she won the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music Artistic Excellence Award. She received the second master degree with famous French flutist Jean Ferrandis at California State University, Fullerton, and worked as the teaching assistant in CSUF. Yuting also won the finalist in San Diego Flute Guild Young Artist Competition. 

Most recently, she is the principal flutist in Rio Hondo Symphony Orchestra, California. Yuting is also the cooperative artist of Revival Arts and Media Ltd. Vancouver Canada and Global Outstanding Chinese Artists Association in San Francisco United States. 

    The world film music album 《Somewhere in Time》 with Rhymoi Music Record Company released in April 2019. In 2020, Yuting will release her new album 《Flute Sonatas》 and cooperate with Rhymoi Music again to release the flute album 《Flute Princess & Animation》

Matthew Linaman has  performed both as a solo cellist and as part of Cello Street Quartet, an ensemble he co-founded,  in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls across the United States and Europe. Now focused on empowering young students through music, Matthew specializes in teaching budding cellists the foundations of technique and musical expression while cultivating curiosity and the drive to make an impact in the world.

While a student of Jean-Michel Fonteneau at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, (SFCM), Matthew was the winner of the SFCM Concerto Competition, the Oakland Symphony Young Artist Competition and the Reno Chamber Orchestra Concerto Competition. In his third year, Matthew co-founded the Cello Street Quartet. Over their five years together, they gave over a hundred and fifty free public performances including extensive musical and educational outreach. In 2014, the Cello Street Quartet was honored to serve as musical ambassadors to Hungary, Kosovo and Russia through the US State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Matthew is currently a Pre-College faculty member at SFCM, coaching chamber music and teaching privately in his own studio. In 2017, he was a featured speaker on the TEDx stage at Herbst theater in San Francisco, has been featured on podcasts and has presented as a guest speaker at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music to speak on entrepreneurship in music. Matthew looks forward to working with Maestro Michael Morgan in February of 2019 performing the Schumann Cello Concerto with the Reno Chamber Orchestra in Matthew’s hometown of Reno, Nevada

Final Application Deadline: July 1For the final, suggest you play 2 or 3 different style of music ( Total performance within 10 min)

You can also choose to compete online, or ln-preson in San Fransisco finals
