The Global Outstanding Chinese Artists Association (GOCAA) is a non-profit comprehensive artistic organization recognized by the U.S. federal government. Founded by Fangfang Pan, the association is dedicated to discovering and promoting rising young talents in the arts, with a primary focus on musical education and international cultural exchange.
Core Activities and Mission

Artistic Disciplines: While heavily focused on classical music (specifically piano, strings, and vocals), the organization also encompasses visual arts, dance, and other artistic forms.

Global Reach: GOCAA operates internationally with competition regions in the United States, China, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Competitions: It hosts the annual GOCAA International Music Competition, which has entered its 13th year as of 2025/2026. High-level winners often perform at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall.

Artist Support: The association provides "signing" opportunities for outstanding young performers, offering them global concert tours, collaborations with professional orchestras, and record releases.
Upcoming and Recent Events (2025–2026)

12th GOCAA International Music Competition: Finals and special concert series are scheduled for 2025, including chamber music concerts in San Francisco and young artist concerts in Vancouver and Toronto.

13th GOCAA International Music Competition (2026): Preliminary rounds are currently open for registration. The grand prize for the Professional Youth Group includes a sponsored performance with a European symphony orchestra in 2027.

Carnegie Hall Event: The 13th GOCAA International Music Competition Awards Ceremony and Concert is scheduled for July 12, 2026, at Weill Recital Hall.

International Collaborations: GOCAA has established a musical alliance with the Malaga Provincial Youth Orchestra (JOPMA) in Spain to showcase Chinese pianists.

Only the Professional Category is eligible to compete for the Artist of the Year Award.
Applicants for the Professional Category must be currently enrolled in a professional music conservatory. They are required to submit proof of enrollment; alternatively, certificates of awards received in major international or national-level competitions, or letters of recommendation from distinguished musicians, will also be accepted.

Final Award Categories:
Special Prize 2026
*Iberian Sinfonietta Special Prize"
(Fang Fang pan , Chinese pianist and founder and manager of GOCAA, and Juan Paulo Gómez, music and artistic director of the Iberian Sinfonietta. Among the various commitments between the two institutions, the competition will award the "Iberian Sinfonietta Special Prize," which includes the orchestra offering a solo concert to the winner of the "Professional Artist Category" each year until 2026. This concert will take place at one of the Iberian Sinfonietta's community concerts following the competition. Therefore, as a start to this new collaboration, Juan Paulo Gómez will present this special prize at the competition's finals and gala on July 12, 2026, at Carnegie Hall in New York.)
*Chamber Music Award
* In the professional artist category, the final round will select musicians to participate in the 2026 tour (applicants must hold a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree from a professional music academy and have won significant international awards).
*The professional category for those under 18 will select the Young Musician of the Year award winner.
(Applicants must be students enrolled in a pre-college program at a professional music conservatory or a secondary school affiliated with a music conservatory.
*The grand final will determine the gold, silver, and bronze medal winners.
*The amateur category will feature special award:
Mozart Prize, Beethoven Prize, Sonata Prize, Beginner Performance Prize, Etude Prize
